Jul. 8th, 2017 01:32 pm Basic Rundown NAME: Artemis of Bana-Mighdall AGE: Who fucking knows. Adult. PREMISE: An Amazon, but not from Wonder Woman's hometown. She's from a freaky desert hellscape that worshiped Egyptian gods, and before we get even more high concept, let's just say the place also raised child soldiers and got set on fire at least twice. It was a great place to grow up. Hiding a secret well of angst, Artemis is outwardly judgmental, abrasive, arrogant and blunt. For some strange reason, she doesn't have many friends. First Impressions VISUAL: She's a big girl. FASHION: If she's not in the clothing linked above, I'll let you know, dude. DEMEANOR: Generally serious, but casual with movements and posture. She exudes confidence, but not arrogance. Well. Not much arrogance. SOUND: Probably has a slight accent, but it's difficult to place where it's from. In general, her voice is on the deep side. SCENT: Sweat and metal. MENTAL INFORMATION: She's pretty placid? lmk if your character's the mind reading type and we'll hash something out. OOC BACKTAGGING: Go for it. I tend to be pretty fast, but I don't mind tagging with people of any speed or style. FOURTHWALLING: Sure, I guess. PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Go for it, but Artemis isn't a huge fan, fyi. PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Please! Anything short of major tortureporn is a-ok. RELATIONSHIPS: Shipping is fine, but I prefer to write up the buildup rather than gloss over it. I don't personally have a preference between m/f and f/f for this character, tho Artemis herself probably prefers f/f. Personal fav ships are Artemis/Akila (which, honestly, I play as canon in her backstory to some degree) and Artemis/Jason, tho I really fucking hate ship pushing and won't ever do that to you if you're not into it! In general I assume gen in any thread unless you tell me otherwise. I'm open to new and different ships as well, just run it by me first (unless you found Artemis on a shipping meme, in which, go for it dude idc). Wishlist & Notes CANONMATES: I love love love any and all CR with any of her Outlaw team. That said, I'd love for more interaction with the batfam in general, considering she's probably heard some weird shit from Jason and doesn't believe... most of it. So interactions of that type would be fun as hell. Likewise: Wonder Woman, who Artemis still has very ambiguous feelings toward, and other DC brats. Really, I'm up for anything, though I'm not super familiar with the DCU outside of bats/supes. CROSSCANON: I'm into it! I love cross-canon and cross medium, go for it. I'm up for anything. Special mention goes to X-Men and Mad Max: Fury Road on my personal wishlist for crosscanon with this character, but honestly, if you're interested, I'm interested. AUS: I love universe visit crossovers where one person ends up in someone else's universe. Because Artemis' backstory is so unique, I'm not super interested in the idea of AUing her into another universe entirely. MISC: I'm really only familiar with n52 / Rebirth Artemis, sorry. That said, I have zero problems mashing universes and would love to thread with all DC babies regardless of continuity, just know I'm not very familiar with Artemis' backstory in the preboot. Honestly, I'm not super familiar with a lot of preboot Wondy lore, so go easy on me lmao. I love cross-canon shenanigans, being dropped into a different dimension, and weird aus.
